Boating Solutions Hydraulic Steering For Outboards 150HP To 300HP

There are several hydraulic steering systems available for your single engine Outboard setup from 150-HP to 300-HP. The systems available are the Protech, SilverSteer and the MD Power Assisted Hydraulic steering system. The Protech hydraulic steering system is the most popular on boats up to 300-HP engines.

This systems is offered in three different versions based upon engine make and year model and can be purchased in a front mount helm or tilt mount helm configuration. It is clearly a performer with its durability and peak performance it offers.

The Protech can be used in both fresh and salt water applications and is popular on Bass boats, Center counsel boats, Pontoons and many other make and models that are a single engine single helm setup up to 300-HP Outboards. But don't be fooled. The Protech can also be used in multiple engine applications as well. For now we are looking at a Single Engine application set up.

The Protech hydraulic steering package comes complete with a UP28 F Front mount helm or UP28 T Tilt mount helm, a UC128 1-2-or 3 Cylinder (based upon Engine Model and Year) and 2-Qt's of Oil-15. Hoses and steering wheel are not inluded and can be purchased separatley.
